Katy Perry lidera indicações ao VMA 2011

A cantora Katy Perry lidera, com nove indicações, a corrida pelos prêmios no MTV Video Music Awards 2011. Ela concorre nas principais categorias, incluindo o vídeo do ano e melhor vídeo feminino pelo clipe de Firework.A premiação será realizada no dia 28 de agosto.

A britânica Adele foi indicada em seis categorias, e também vai disputar o prêmio de melhor vídeo com Katy Perry por Rolling in The Deep. Já Lady Gaga, que foi a grande vencedora do ano passado, foi indicada em apenas três categorias: melhor clipe feminino (Born This Way) e coreografia e direção de arte (Judas).
